Remedies chosen as part of new grant for mental health services in Boone County

Kathy Branning, Remedies’ VP of Marketing/Fund Development, participated in a press conference on 12/22/21 at the Boone County Administration Building.  The press conference announced that the Boone County Behavioral Health Task Force received funding for two positions to provide mental health services to Boone County residents.  The services provided by the grant will assist law enforcement when calls are received related to substance abuse and mental health. Remedies Renewing Lives was chosen as part of this grant for one of the mental health positions to be located at the Remedies’ facility at 1908 Pierce Court in Belvidere.

The Boone County Behavioral Health Task Force was formed in April, 2017, and consists of multiple community partners and first responder agencies, to aid Boone County in the behavioral health crisis.
